The Sunday Times, 2nd October 2005

In the report “Mental problems soar among children using cannabis” (News, September 18) we wrongly stated that the drug charity Addaction had treated 1,575 cannabis users for psychotic problems. In fact the data related only to the total number of young people seen in Addaction’s services for cannabis drug use and dependency. The charity does not treat mental health problems but rather refers them to other agencies.
