The Hempire News - January 03

Cafe News
As much of the previous month was spent in Thailand we haven't made major progress in securing finance. Although we do have a meeting at the bank next week.

Energies were instead spent designing the interior. And let me tell you, the beach in Thailand is a great place to design somewhere built for relaxation. Our architect, Edwin, has brilliantly divided the space and we now have a dining area, a lounging area, a sitting/dancing area and a garden. The garden has decking and hammocks and portholes through the surrounding wall, meaning people can see in without compromising your privacy. We've got round tables and arcs and smooth lines throughout. We've got an indoor fish pond, plants, candles and raised areas where you'll be able to lie back and think of, well think of whatever you want.

The report says he may have used cannabis-based oils to heal and that his very name - Christ - derives from being anointed with cannabis-enriched oil.

Canada is edging further towards decriminalisation. The Justice Minister, Martin Cauchon, has said he wants to rationalise the laws on drugs "as quickly as I can".

Police in Coventry are sending dogs into pubs to sniff out drug users. The dogs are trained to sit quietly in a spot where they've found illicit substances and can detect if someone's used cannabis more than an hour before. So be careful of the next Labrador you try to befriend down your local.
